Newest iPad Competition, RIM’s Playbook
A couple of days ago, RIMM announced their newest tablet computer in San Francisco. The tablet is said to be a strong competition against Apple’s iPad because of the Playbook including some features the iPad lacks.
These features that are missing on the iPad would be both front and rear facing cameras, making telephone confrences that much better. Also, Adobe Flash will be included with the Playbook which will bring the user’s online experience to a whole new level. Besides that, the Playbook will include traditional Blackberry security features and it will also be smaller as well as lighter than the iPad. And to top it all off, the Playbook will be able to access the internet through Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
As for now, no prices have been set. The tablet isn’t said to be released till early in 2011 but so far, it looks like it will be giving Apple’s iPad a run for its money.
