Hackers Go On a Rampage

This weekend a number of websites such as The RegisterThe Daily Telegraph and UPS, were attacked by a group of hackers that were most likely from Turkey.  The “hack” directed users to third-party websites.  Security expert Graham Cluley pointed out that the websites were not actually hacked but instead, the hackers managed to change the DNS records of the varies sites.

Numerous other websites were redirected to third-party pages, such asNational Geographic, BetFair, Vodafone and Acer.
