With the biggest shopping day of the year approaching in the next couple days, Amazon has just announced that they will be dropping the price of all Sprint, Verizon, and AT&T phones to an outstanding ONE CENT. A lot of online stores will be having “crazy” deals on different products throughout the week. Amazon is among these stores and the price drop to one cent is the first of many online deals to come.
The “Penny Pincher Sale”, as Amazon calls it, will last through November 28 which is also known as the popular “cyber Monday”. As always, there is a catch. With each purchase of a phone, you will have to sign up for a new contract/line of service. Either way, it is still an amazing deal and you should pick up a new smartphone while you can. Some of the popular phones included in this sale is the Droid Incredible 2, Samsung Galaxy S 4G, Droid Bionic, and the Motorola Atrix.
So in short, if you are looking to buy a new smartphone this fall, now is the best time for the best price.
A string of pictures of T-Mobile’s upcoming beast of a smartphone, the HTC Amaze 4G (also known as the HTC Ruby), by the Thai Android site, DroidSans.
Not too much is known about the phone but what we do know, makes the phone a beast. The phone will run off of a whopping 1.5 Ghz dual-core processor and a large 1GB of RAM. Other features on the phone include a 4.3 inch HD display, 8 megapixel rear-facing camera, and a 2 megapixel front-facing camera.
The pictures look impressive along with the specs but T-Mobile has yet to actually announce this phone as part of their “lineup” so it looks like we’ll have to wait and see what the final product looks like.
A series of photos have just been posted on XDA Developers forums showing some of the features on HTC’s upcoming phone, the HTC Holiday.
As seen in the picture above, the HTC Holiday seems to be rather thin. The device is running off of a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, and has a 4.5 inch display. Because of a leak earlier this year, we also know that the Holiday will also have 1GB of RAM, an 8 megapixel rear facing camera, and a 1.2 megapixel front facing camera.
The phone also appears to have a conductive charge port which means that you will be able to plug the charger in your wall and the device can be placed on the charger. (wireless charging).
The HTC Holiday looks like it will be impressive. Perhaps a big competition to the latest iPhone 5?

The phone, the Conquer, is built by Samsung and on Sprint’s network. The Conquer has all of the “bells and whistles” that a normal smartphone user would look for including a 3.5 inch display, 320×480 resolution, 4G network, as well as running on Android’s Gingerbread software (Android 2.3). Did I mention that the phone is only $99? Yes, this is true making the Conquer the cheapest 4G Android 2.3 run phone on the market.
Besides all of this, the Conquer also has a 3.5 megapixel camera, 1GHz snapdragon processor, and a 2GB SD card. Couple other interesting features is including a front facing camera and also having mobile Wi-Fi hotspot functionality.
This new smartphone from Sprint seems to be a great deal. With all of these features and a $99 price tag, what’s not to like?

Earlier this week, Verizon announced the arrival of their newest Samsung phone. The Samsung Continuum. The phone was released today (Nov. 11) only for order for $199.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate and a new two year contract. On November 18th, the Continuum will be available for purchase.
One of the main things people will notice about this phone is that it has not one, but two Super AMOLED display screens. The main display is 3.4 inches with a 480 x 800 pixel resolution. The second screen, which is a customizable ticker display, is 1.8 inches. This ticker display offers users up-to-date news, sports scores, finance, and social networking updates.
The outside of this phone is pretty compact and thin. It has a 5 megapixel camera with a LED flash. Along with this camera, it can record video in 720p HD which is a pretty common feature in the newer smartphones.
The phone will be running on Android 2.1 and will have a 1GHz processor making this phone just about as fast as you can get it. It will also have 512MB of ROM and 384 MB of RAM.
This phone is looking to be great. The only downside is that it comes in one color, black. Which isn’t too bad but to some people, they may want different colors. What do you think?
