This Friday, Samsung announced the new Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, and upgrade from the original Galaxy Tab. This new version is expected to be lighter and more powerful compared to the original by running on a new 1.2GHz processor.
This new Galaxy Tab will run on Android 3.2 (Honeycomb). It will also have a 7 inch screen and will weigh around 12.16 ounces compared to the 13.58 ounces on the original Tab. It will also be running on the new dual-core 1.2GHz processor.
The Galaxy 7.0 Tab will be offered in both 16 and 32 GB versions which can both be expanded to 64GB by using a microSD card.
Pricing hasn’t been stated yet but the new tablet will be available first in Indonesia and Austria by the end of October, and then it will gradually roll out in other countries, including the U.S.
